Ways to stay up to date...

Central Dauphin Ice Hockey Club is online to keep you up to date! Be sure to check us out on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TeamApp, and here at CDIceHockey.org. Links to each of our social media sites are in the menu bar under technology. We try to have someone send tweets throughout the games barring no issues. Not all rinks have wifi or cell reception. If you don't have a Twitter account, you can follow the tweets on the home page of this website. If you have any questions, please let a board member know or send an email to tech@cdicehockey.org.

Help Wanted

We are looking for help with the game video during high school home games. This can be a player not on the roster for the night, a parent, or even a friend or sibling.

Here is her description of what would need done:

  • Keep the camera zoomed out so as much ice as possible can be seen. (Since coaches see the puck during the game, this shows the whole picture so they can see what else is happening.)
  • Only stop the video between periods, not during. (If anything goes wrong on the ice, we will have it on video, even though we hope to never need it. The video can be clipped for start/stop times, so it can be started at any time. No need to wait for the puck drop and worry about missing it.)
  • At the end of each period, zoom in on the score board.
  • That's it!

We also have an app! On your Smartphone, download TeamApp, then search for Central Dauphin. On iPhones and iPods, iOS6.0 or higher is required. You will have to create an account prior to adding us to your teams. Further information about our app is located below.

Following us will enable you to keep up to date with us if you cannot make one of our events. If you can't make a game, you'll be able to follow the score and cheer along with us from wherever you are.

Central Dauphin Ice Hockey now has a Smartphone App that will keep you up-to-date with your favorite team's news, events and much more. Don't have a smartphone? Visit us at the app's webpage, http://cdihc.teamapp.com.

 

To get the full features of the team's App, just download TeamApp onto your smartphone (http://teamapp.com/app). Its 100% FREE!

1. Launch Team App and search for Central Dauphin.
2. Sign-up for Team App. You'll be sent an email to confirm your registration.
3. Search for our club's App (Central Dauphin) and request access to group(s) that apply to you. Current groups are Player, Coach, Parent/Guardian and Fan.  You will need to select the one(s) that apply to you and enter a reason for sign up. (Reasons are "(player's name)'s parent", "player on (team)", "coach of (team)", etc.)

Once you sign up, the Team App administrator will receive a text/email to approve the request.
